"Synchronicity" 5.11 Lead FA! Far Side MSH

I and others may have top roped this little thing a long time ago (it's hard to remember everything from 15-20 years ago). After not being at The Far Side for many years I recently went up to do some re-bolting (fixing old anchors). After we were done I scouted around for something new and exciting and this possible new route or maybe old top rope route looked like as good a lead climb as most of the other old classics up there. I had some power left in the drill that day so here it is - one of the toughest, albeit shortest climbs at The Far Side, the bouldery, pockety, fun "Synchronicity" 5.11!

and don't miss the "Synchro Crack"? 5.8/9ish? TR crack to the left of Synchronicity is a lot of fun as well and has probably been top roped and might have even been led long ago or it needs to soon!?

Carmet Boulder

Val at Carmet (between Bodega and Jenner). This boulder has some fun vB-v1 and a v2 360 traverse.

Mount Tamalpais State Park in Marin County has some of the best views of the San Francisco Bay Area I have ever seen and a lot of them are right from the seat of your car. Mt Tam is the birthplace of mountain biking with many steep trails for biking or hiking all over the mountain. Local climbers know Mt Tam as a good place to find some easy to moderate top ropes on fairly solid volcanic stone with good cracks, pockets and jugs.

There has also been a slow development of bouldering going on but never more than some spread out problems of varied styles. Now thanks to luck and some inspired locals (Kenny Ariza and Eliot Carlsen) who explored all over the mountain in the last few years in search of new rock it also has a fair share of quality, concentrated bouldering areas. The mountain now sports about 100 problems with legit access on well maintained park trails.
